Did We Not Raise You Among Us?

So Mūsā and Hārūn had different conversations with Firʿawn, and Allah (swt) mentions them in many parts of the Qur'an, in many ayat. We will talk about this one here, which is in Sūrat al-Shuʿarāʾ. When Mūsā went to Firʿawn and asked him to believe in Allah (swt), Firʿawn immediately began reminding Mūsā of his previous crime, and he also began reminding Mūsā of his favours to him.

Firʿawn said to Mūsā: did we not bring you up among us as a child, and did you not dwell many years of your life with us? I am the one who raised you; I am the one who fed you; I am the one who took care of you — and this is what you end up doing to me. And the other thing he said: and you did your deed which you did — he is talking about what? The crime of killing — and you were one of the ingrates; you were ungrateful. We took care of you, and then you ended up killing one of our people.
