A Hand Shining White
وَٱضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوٓءٍ ءَايَةً أُخْرَىٰ لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ ءَايَـٰتِنَا ٱلْكُبْرَى
“And press your hand under your arm, and it will come out (brightly) white without any disease, as another sign, so that We may show you some of Our great signs.” (20:22–23)
And then Allah (swt) told him: put your right hand under your arm. Mūsā, as we know, was dark-skinned. He pulled out his hand, and it was white, shining like the moon. Allah told him to put his hand back; he put his hand back, and it returned to its natural colour. Two signs. Allah (swt) says: that We may show you some of Our greater signs. These are two out of the nine signs Allah (swt) gave Mūsā, and we will talk about the other signs later.
