I Killed a Man Among Them
Now there are a few other points that Mūsā wants to ask Allah (swt) about. Mūsā had left Egypt because of the killing that happened. There was a warrant out against Mūsā. So he wants to ask Allah (swt) about this.
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى قَتَلْتُ مِنْهُمْ نَفْسًا فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ وَأَخِى هَـٰرُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّى لِسَانًا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِىَ رِدْءًا يُصَدِّقُنِىٓ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَـٰنًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا ۚ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أَنتُمَا وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكُمَا ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
“He said, “My Lord, I have killed a person from them, therefore I fear that they will kill me. And my brother Hārūn is more eloquent than me in speech; so send him with me as a helper to bear me out. I am afraid, they will give the lie to me.” He (Allah) said, “We will strengthen your arm with your brother, and will give both of you such a power that they will have no access to you (to cause any harm) because of Our signs. You and your followers will be the victors.”” (28:33–35)
He said: my Lord, I have killed a man among them, and I fear that they will kill me. And my brother Hārūn — he is more eloquent in speech than me; he is better at speaking — so send him with me as a helper to confirm me. Verily, I fear that they will deny me. Allah said: We will strengthen your arm through your brother, and give you both power, so they will not be able to harm you, with Our ayat. You two, as well as those who follow you, will be the victorious.
