Seek Help From Allah and Be Patient

They said: we suffered troubles before you came to us, and since you have come to us. But Mūsā told them: it may be that your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land, so that He may see how you act. Allah will give you victory over your enemy, and Allah will give you a khilāfah — but you have to go through the sacrifice. That is the natural path to victory.

And Mūsā had told his people, in the ayah before: seek help from Allah, and be patient — we have to be patient. Verily, the earth is Allah's. He gives it as a heritage to whom He wills of His slaves, and the blessed end is for the muttaqīn.
