Allah Is Sufficient as a Witness
Finally, after a number of other discussions, Allah (swt) closes the sūrah with the Prophet (peace be upon him):
وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا ۚ قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدًۢا بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
“The disbelievers say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, “Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you, and those too (are my witnesses) who have the knowledge of the Book.”” (13:43)
The disbelievers say that you are not a sent messenger. Say: Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you, and the one who has the knowledge of the Book.
Once again, because the sūrah opened with the Qur'an, the Book of Allah, it closes with it, and the connection between the two ends is thus made. With this Sūrat ar-Raʿd is complete. Al-ḥamdu li-llāh.

* Kept as given. The verse of prostration at the end of the sūrah immediately before Sūrat al-Anfāl is 7:206, at the end of Sūrat al-Aʿrāf, which is chapter 7; chapter 9 is Sūrat at-Tawbah, which follows al-Anfāl and contains no verse of prostration.
