A Manual for the Heart

Another verse that deserves notice is verse 28:

Here Allah gives us a manual for the heart, a prescription for the heart. Allāhu akbar — it is the people of belief whose hearts become content, tranquil and comforted by the remembrance of Allah; for it is only by the remembrance of Allah that hearts find comfort.

As has been said elsewhere, music is for the soul, whereas the dhikr of Allah is for the spirit, the rūḥ, the angelic side of man. We ask Allah (swt) to make us min al-dhākkirīn, of those who remember Him abundantly.
