He Increases Those Who Seek Guidance

Allah (swt) then treats of hellfire, and of how many have been destroyed for their wrongdoing. Verse 75 poses a challenge; but of those who do good Allah says:

Those who desire guidance, and who take the path of guidance, Allah (swt) increases in guidance. Take the first step in the pursuit of knowledge — attend courses, read the commentaries, read further — and Allah will increase your guidance thereafter.

The verse continues with al-bāqiyāt al-ṣāliḥāt, a theme that recurs continually, and this is the third occasion on which it has appeared: that those enduring deeds of righteousness are better in reward with your Lord, and better in what they yield hereafter.
