Seven Hard Years, Then Rain

Then will come, after that, seven hard years, which will devour what you have laid by in advance for them, all except a little of what you have guarded and stored. After these seven years of abundance, seven difficult years will come in which you will have nothing, and in those seven years you will be eating from what you have stored. These are the seven lean cows eating the seven fat ones; and the seven green ears of corn you will use for the seven dry ones. So he gave them recommendations for how to do it.

And then he told them something that was not in the dream — and this was waḥy, revelation from Allah (swt): then, after that, will come a year in which people will have abundant rain, and in which they will press wine and oil. This was not in the dream, but he told them that after the seven difficult years Allah (swt) would send a great deal of rain upon them.
