Sūrat al-Isrāʾ

Call upon Allah, or Call upon the Merciful
And then, finally, the sūrah is finished. There is a sajdah at the end of the sūrah; it is a place of sajdah, as is known. And there are the beautiful verses:
قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ ۖ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُوا۟ فَلَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَٱبْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًا
“Say, “Call (Him by the name of) Allah or Ar-RaHmān, in whichever way you call, His are the Best Names.” Do not be (too) loud in your Salāh, nor be (too) low in it, and seek a way in between.” (17:110)
Quli udʿū Allāha awi udʿū al-Raḥmān: say Allah, or say Raḥmān; call upon Him by whichever name you wish, by whichever name you call upon Him — to Him belong the beautiful names. That must be one wonderful verse, and a verse much enjoyed. And then Allah ends the sūrah with al-ḥamdu li-llāh.
