The Prayer of Tasbīḥ

Ṣalāt al-tasbīḥ is a special prayer that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) advises should be prayed almost every day. If it cannot be done every day, then once a week; if not once a week, then once a month; if not once a month, then once a year; and if not once a year, then once in a lifetime — at least this ṣalāt al-tasbīḥ must be performed, according to the narration of Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with him).
