Three Forms of Worship in One

Second, a servant of Allah performs ʿibādah in ṣalāh through the heart, through the physical body and through wealth, so that it comprises three forms of worship at once. With the heart, one is in prayer. With the body, there is rukūʿ, sujūd and every other movement of ṣalāh. And with wealth — the clothing bought to cover the ʿawrah, the place of prayer kept clean, and everything else spent in this cause — there is spending in the path of Allah, which is itself worship. This too is a blessing contained within ṣalāh.
