10. Musa's Prophethood and Mission
After completing his term with Shuaib (peace be upon him), Musa (peace be upon him) departed with his family, heading back toward Egypt. During this journey, on the side of Mount Tur, he noticed a fire in the distance. This moment marked the beginning of his prophetic mission.
فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى الْأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَ
“So, when Mūsā completed the term and set forth with his wife, he noticed a fire from the direction of (the mount) Tūr, he said to his wife, “Stay here; I have noticed a fire. May be I bring to you some information or an ember from the fire, so that you may warm yourself.”” (28:29)
