Rizq by Lawful Means or Unlawful

Rizq can come to a person by a lawful route or an unlawful one. This does not mean that a fixed portion must come by one path and a fixed portion by the other; rather, a person has the choice of acquiring what is written for him either the ḥalāl way or the ḥarām way — that choice is entirely his own — but the rizq itself will come to him regardless. It will definitely come.
