Dhū al-Khalaṣah

Also — and these are events that happened within that year — the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent men from the tribe of Aḥmas to Dhū al-Khalaṣah to destroy it, and they destroyed it. So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was destroying all of the remnants of the Jāhiliyyah; all of these false idols, the aṣnām, were being destroyed, and this was bringing an end to false worship in the land of the Ḥijāz and the rest of the Arabian Peninsula. This is the end of the events of the eighth year of the hijrah.
