The End of the Sīrah

This is the end of the sīrah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). We thank Allah (swt); we say al-ḥamdu lillāh, al-ḥamdu lillāh, al-ḥamdu lillāh, who allowed us to go through the life, the sīrah, of the best of creation, Muḥammad (peace be upon him). It has been a wonderful time spent with the story of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). So we ask Allah (swt), in the end, to make us of those who love the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) — to make us of those who truly love the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him); to make us of those who follow his sunnah, his way; and to make us of those who will be raised up with him on the Day of Judgement and will drink from his hands, from al-Kawthar. And we ask Allah (swt) to admit us with him into Paradise.

Review the sīrah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him); hear it again; follow it; and love Muḥammad (peace be upon him). And be concerned about the ummah as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was concerned about the ummah. Remember that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) lived and died for you. Remember that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave up much of the enjoyment of the dunyā so that Islam could come to you; and say al-ḥamdu lillāh for that. And be grateful; be grateful: the one who is not grateful to people will not be grateful to Allah. And who among all humanity do we owe more than the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? We owe the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) a great deal: everything we know about Islam came to us through him. So how much do we owe the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? The least we can do, in recognition of what the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did for us, is to follow him, and to send ṣalāh and salām upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).
